My favorite photographs are full of spontaneous moments. They are images that capture the heart and soul of your celebration and family. I want to tell your unique story with treasured photos—all the smiles, tears, excitement, and fun.

Schooled in photography I set the camera down for a while and made my living as a graphic designer. In 1997 I became a scuba instructor and after teaching hundreds of people to scuba dive, I realized I preferred photographing them underwater so I worked as an underwater photographer before my desire to create beautiful images led me back to terra firma where I have specialized in weddings and family photography for over 11 years.

I have photographed hundreds of weddings and that experience is priceless. Managing all the chaos a wedding can bring requires a cool head, knowledge and organization. I can assure you have gorgeous wedding photos even if it rains buckets, if your venue is as dark as a cavern, or the sun is blinding bright on the beach. I’ve photographed weddings in hurricanes and in aquariums. I have experience photographing multicultural weddings including Indian ceremonies. I also believe that Love is Love—and I support and photograph LGBTQ weddings. 

Based in Morehead City NC and available for travel! I am an experienced destination wedding photographer and have photographed all over the U.S. including the North Carolina Outer Banks, weddings in the North Carolina Mountains, Baltimore Inner Harbor, weddings in historic Charleston SC and even the Riviera Maya and Cancun Mexico. 

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America, The Professional Photographers of North Carolina and the Professional Imaging Group of Eastern North Carolina. I was named North Carolina’s Professional Photographer of the Year in 2020 and 2021.
